Why Sweden

Why Sweden

  • World ranked education system

24 out of 39 universities take international students

Universities in Sweden follow a unique method of teaching. Unlike any other university, students in Sweden are encouraged to think critically. However, as an outcome, students will be able to think critically and creatively on their own. Furthermore, students are not only taught how to deal with the academic world but also how to deal with it around the world. As a result, learners will gain a fresh perspective on the world.

  • Work Opportunities for Students

One of the highest paying countries in terms of wage

  • Equal Focus on Every Course:

The emphasis of each course is another major feature that distinguishes Swedish universities. They don't simply focus on getting a degree by completing credits, but rather prioritize logic, reasoning, and, most crucially, application. Sweden's universities will not only instruct but also educate students on how to put their knowledge into practice.

  • Students are Prioritized at an Individual level:

A student sitting in class for the sole purpose of receiving credit can be seen all around the world. Unfortunately, many teachers are so focused on their lectures that they are completely unaware of the situation. They may not even notice since they enjoy hearing themselves speak and/or demonstrating their intelligence.

This isn't something you'll find in Swedish universities. As previously said, the emphasis is on invention and application. Professors are keen to know that you are not only learning but also putting what you've learned into practice. You'll have to show that you know what you're doing and how to use it.

  • Scholarship Availability:

There are several scholarship opportunities that are created to assist students in covering their tuition costs. Additionally, financial exemptions for international students are available through scholarships granted by both the Swedish government as well as specific colleges in Sweden. Also, the universities conduct SweSAT (or Högskoleprovet in Swedish) entrance exam, which has no age restrictions and is also open to non-Swedish citizens as well. However, to apply for the course or program, one must have the necessary permissions.

  • Solely Diverse Nation:

Sweden is a country with a wide range of cultures. It not only just allows for diversity, but also promotes it.  Sweden, like every other country, works hard to foster diversity. Sweden has been continuously ranked among the world's most egalitarian countries. It's also one of the greatest when it comes to gender equality and LGBT rights. This is because of Sweden's progressive outlook in general.
