The students who wish to stay back in the country after finishing their studies require a different permit. They need a residence permit. To apply for the permit, processing should be started before the study permit expires as the processing time for the residence permit can take between 30 days to 150 days.
- A residence permit to find a job:
The students who wish to stay back in the country after their study finishes and are in search of a job in the country need this permit. The validity of this permit is one year which is not entitled to renewal after the expiry.
- Residence Permit after finding a job:
The students who find a job before the expiry of the previous permit need to apply for this type of permit for the duration of the employment period or 4years, whichever is the shortest.
